Eligibility for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer Exam:
Age Limit for TNPSC Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Examination: As on 01-07-2006
(A) Must have completed 21 years (For all)(i.e. Should have been born on or before 01-07-1985) and
(B) Must not have completed
40 years for SCs,STs,MBCs/DCs, BCs and Destitute Widows of all castes (i.e., should have been born on or after 02-07-1966)
30 years for ‘others’ (i.e., should have been born on or after 02-07-1976)
NOTE:
Age concession of 5 years in the maximum age limit will be applicable to unemployed youth and those who are already in Government Service.
Paragraph 4 of the Commission’s “Instructions, etc., to candidates” will not apply for this recruitment
Age concessions announced in paragraph 13 & 14 of the Commissions “Instructions etc., to Candidates” will apply for the maximum age limit only.
Candidates not belonging to SCs,STs, MBCs/DCs and BCs (ie.’Others’) who have put in five years of regular service in State/Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit.
