The awards are instituted by the foundation for excellence in human endeavour in the fields of propagation Of Non-Violence & Vegetarianism Education & Medicine Social & Community Services. The three awards carry a cash component of Rs.5 lacs each II. The foundation also proposes to make two special awards caurrying a cash component of Rs.1 Lac each to books or other literary works on vegetarianism only in hindi or english whether published or unpublished.
