It would include training in all the modules such as mathematics, English, general knowledge, puzzle reasoning, marketing and computers.
V.V. Vinod, Business Head - Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Career Launcher India, said : "For the last 15 years, we have been offering training to students on several subjects.
This is the first time we have joined hands with the State government to offer free training to SC / ST students. Even other students can join this training programme. They have to pay Rs. 5,500 per person."
According to him, the selection process for the programme would be conducted in Chennai on 24th July, 2010 and 31st July, 2010, followed by Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchi in the coming weeks.
Only those students, who had passed plus two exams, could appear for the written test. The venue and timing details would be communicated to the all the students, who register for the written test.

"This is only a beginning. We might extend free training programmes for our students in other categories such as insurance and railways.
The prime objective of TAHDCO in organising this programme is to achieve and sustain increases in the income levels of the SC / STs, especially those living below the poverty line.
