Architectural Design Competition 2010

The Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance proposes to construct Rajaswa Bhawan, a National Tax Headquarters building at a prominent site in Lutyen's Delhi on a plot measuring 5.65 acres on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in New Delhi.

It has been decided to hold a National level open Design Competition for selecting the best Architectural Design.

On behalf of the Department of Revenue, DRDO shall execute the project.

The project is likely to cost about Rs.175 Crores.

Prizes :

First Prize	Second Prize	Third Prize	Three Merit Prizes
Rs. 10 Lakhs	Rs. 5 Lakhs	Rs. 3 Lakhs	Rs. 1 Lakh each

The Architectural Design Competition will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Council of Architecture.

The entry is open to Indian Nationals who hold a degree in Architecture, recognized by the Council of Architecture alongwith a valid registration to practice, subject to the following minimum criteria :

The Degree in Architecture should not be dated later man 01 January 2005.

Should be registered with the Council of Architecture since 01 January 2005 or earlier.

Proof of having practiced for not less than 05 year as on 01 January 2010.

Proof of Gross Receipt of Professional Fees of not less than Rs. 25 Lakhs per annum in the last three financial years.

Interested Architects may submit a brief CV alongwith attested documents in an envelope superscribed "Architectural Design Competition for the Design of Rajaswa Bhawan" to the following address for pre - registration :

All applications for pre - registration should be received not later than 03 May 2010.

Short listed architects will be informed by post / tele / Email by 17 May 2010.

The Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications for pre - registration.

The pre-registered architects will get minimum of 90 days to design and submit the scheme.
