Coimbatore: In furtherance of the institution-industry interaction initiated by Bharathiar University, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with “Vision for Wisdom”, World Community Service Centre (WCSC), here on Thursday.

The MoU was signed by P. Thirumalvalavan, Registrar of the university, and S.K. Maeilanandam, president of WCSC, at the university, in the presence of Vice-Chancellor G. Thiruvasagam.

A university release said the centre, founded by Vethathiri Maharishi, conducted programmes in human excellence. It strove to inculcate knowledge and skill for improving physical, mental, spiritual and social health.

The MoU would entail the centre offering Certificate, Diploma, PostGraduate Diploma and Degree Courses in Yoga, at its 57 centres under the aegis of Bharathiar University.
