The School of Distance Education of the Bharathiar University invites qualified academicians with adequate experience to prepare study material for various courses of the school.

According to a university release, the school provided self-study material, prepared in accordance with the Distance Education Council format, to students enrolled in various courses from the academic year 2007-08.

Ability to enrol as study material writers, qualified academicians without experience but with the ability to write standard study material could do so.

For reference and guidance to prepare study materials in the DEC format, model study materials in the respective courses are available on the university website www.b-u.ac.in.

An honorarium of Rs. 2,000 per unit and Rs. 10,000 per subject has been fixed for preparation of undergraduate and post-graduate courses.
