Announcement for 57th Annual Convocation 10th March 2007

The 57th Annual convocation of the University shall be held on 10th March 2007 (Saturday) at the athletics Ground of the University. Shri Pranap Mukherjee, Hon’ble Minister for External Affairs, Govt. of India, has very kindly consented to grace the occasion and deliver the Convocation Address.

Students who have qualified for the award of the degree of the University in the year 2006 (Under-graduate, Post-graduate, M.Phil., Ph.D., D.Sc. and D.Litt.) in various facilities, and wish to attend the Convocation and receive the degree and medals in person are requested to intimate the undersigned in writing by 28.02.2007 (Wednesday) giving details of their Enrollment No., Faculty No., degree course completed in 2006 and Hall to which they belong / belonged. The acceptance can also be sent through Email: convo57_controller_amu@hotmail.com.

All such students shall report to the concerned Provosts of Halls / Co-ordinator, B.E. courses (in case of B.E. students) and Registry Unit of the Controller’s Office (in case of Women Private candidates, Teacher candidates and University Employees) and collect their Degree Cards and other relevant information on or before 9th March 2007.
