The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has invited applications for entrance examinations for admission to various courses starting in August.
The institute admits only women to the four-year B.Sc. (Hons) nursing course, which has 50 seats. The applicants should have passed Plus-Two, or equivalent examinations, with physics, chemistry, biology and English, securing not less than 55 per cent marks (50 per cent for Scheduled Caste, SC, and Scheduled Tribe, ST, candidates) in aggregate in these subjects.
The entrance examination will be held in Thiruvananthapuram and Delhi on
June 22.
Those who are appearing, or have appeared, for the final-year qualifying examination in 2008 and whose results are likely to be declared before July 1 can also apply for the B.Sc. (Hons) nursing and paramedical courses. Their age should be 17 as on December 31,2008.
