AIPGMET 2009 Kolhapur Selection Procedure

A. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his choice when it is his turn for counselling.

B. Tie Breaker

In case of equal marks at AIPGMET 2009 inter-se-merit of the candidates will be determined by applyingfollowingtie breaker rules:

First Level: A Candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the aggregate of marks at the First, Second and Third M.B.B.S. (Part I & II) Examinations taken together will be preferred. If the tie still persists, then:

Second Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the Third M.B.B.S. (Part I & II) Examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists, then
Third Level: A Candidate securing higher percentage of marks at the Second M.B.B.S. Examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists then
Fourth Level: An older candidate will be preferred overayounger candidate.

Declaration of Result

The result of the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2009 in the form of merit list arranged according to the marks obtained by the candidates containing names of the candidates will be declared at 3.30 PM on 27th February 2009 at the University office and on website.
