Date of LUCSAT 2008: 22nd June, 2008 (Sunday)

Eligibility for LUCSAT 2008: B.Sc. (Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology) or B.C.A. of minimum three year duration with a minimum of 50% marks and Mathematics as one of the subject at Intermediate / Higher Secondary (i.e. 10+2) level.

A deduction of 3%marks will be done on the total marks obtained for each gap year while preparing the final merit list.

Number of seats: 30

LUCSAT 2008 Admission Criteria: The admission shall be done on the basis of combined entrance test (100 marks). Entrance Test Question paper will consist of multiple choice question on English Language and comprehension, Numerical Aptitude, Basic Computing abilities, General Awareness and Reasoning. T here shall be no negative marking. The selection to the course will be through a 2 hours written test.

There shall be no weightage of any P.G. Degree/Diploma.

LUCSAT 2008 Exam Pattern:

Question Paper pattern for Entrance Examination (100 Marks)

Part – A: 40 Multiple Choice Questions in Total, comprising of Questions based on logical reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English Comprehension.

Part – B: 60 Multiple Choice Questions in Total based on B.C.A./B.Sc.(Computer Science) Syllabus.

Reservation: The existing reservation rules of the University shall apply in admitting the students to this course.

Fees: Total fee per semester is Rs. 31,000.00

Result declaration and merit wise list	2nd July, 2008 (Wednesday)

LUCSAT 2008 Importnat Notifications:

1. The Application form will be available only at the website ( www.lkouniv.ac.in) from which it can be downloaded

2. The Application form must be filled in Capital letters by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.

3. The fee of admission test is Rs. 700/-, which is to be paid by the candidate at the time of submission of the filled form in every respect which is to paid by the candidate by making a demand draft in favour of “Finance Officer, University of Lucknow”.

4. Incomplete forms will be subjected to rejection. The candidate would have then no claim.

5. The Xerox copy of the properly filled Application Form must be kept by the candidate, which can be treated as the proof of filled form when produced along with postal receipt.

6. There will be deduction of 3% marks on total marks obtained for each gap year.
