• SET-2009 has 5 different papers namely General, Design, Law, Engineering and Health Sciences.
• The test will be conducted in two sessions, Morning and Afternoon.
• A Candidate may take more than one paper. However he may chose one paper from morning session and one paper from afternoon session.

Methods of Instruction:

• The medium of instruction is English. The instruction method is essentially learner-centric, which includes lectures, field visits, seminars, group discussions and ICT-enabled learning by the international guest faculty and guest sessions by the stalwarts of the field.

The Method of Assessment:

• SLS follows the CGPA system of assessment. Assessment consists of internal components of ongoing tests, assignment and presentation.

The External examination is characterized by objective questions.

SLS 2009 Eligibility for B.A. and B.B.A. LL.B.:

• The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) examination from any recognized board with minimum 50% marks (45% for S.C./S.T.students) in first attempt (No Compartment).

• Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the announced date.

SLS 2009 Age Limit:

• Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for SET as on 02 May 2009.(2 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates i.e. 22 years)

SLS 2009 Intake Limit:

• The total intake is 200 seats (Inclusive of 150 seats of B.B.A. LL.B. and 50 seats of B.A. LL.B.).

SLS 2009 Reservation of seats:

• Scheduled Caste: 15%

• Scheduled Tribe: 7.5 %

• Sponsored Category (Management Quota):15%

• Physically Handicapped: 3%

• Wards of Serving/Retired Defense Personnel: 5%

Over & above sanctioned intake:

• Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per Programme

• International students: 15 % (including PIO and NRI)
