Language of NCHMCT JEE 2010 Question Paper:
* NCHMCT JEE Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi (except for English Language)
Marking Scheme for NCHMCT JEE 2010 Written Test:
* For each question you will be awarded on mark if you have darkened only one bubble corresponding to the correct answer. In case you have not darkened any bubble, you will be awarded zero mark for that question. There will be negative marking to the extent of half mark for darkening a wrong bubble.There will be no negative marking for Aptitude for Service Sector.
Merit List:
* All India merit list of candidates shall be prepared with a unique rank on the basis of marks secured in the Written Test as well as other factors i.e. marks obtained in English component, Service Aptitude component and age of the candidate.
Result of NCHMCT JEE Written Test:
* Result of NCHMCT JEE 2010 Written Test shall be announced on the web site of the National Council in the First week of June, 2010.
Allotment of NCHMCT JEE Seats through De-Centralized/ Centralized Counseling:
* National Council shall arrange Counseling at State capitals where IHM/ SIHM are located, the places can be deleted or added as per facilities available at the Counseling centers. The details shall be displayed / circulated on or before announcement of result of NCHMCT JEE 2010 (Written Test) in the website or at the time of NCHMCT JEE Written Test.
Refund of Fee after taking admission at the allotted Institute:
* In case of withdrawal within a month from the date of NCHMCT 2010 admission at the allotted Institute, 50% of the deposited fee shall be refunded by the concerned Institute. No fee will be refunded if, admission is withdrawn after 30 days from the date of admission on any ground except caution money.
Merit Scholarships and Financial Assistance for SC candidates
* National Council has instituted Merit Scholarships Scheme with the help of Industry for meritorious students who obtain Ist, IInd and IIIrd position on All India basis in Council’s Annual Examination in the Ist year, IInd year and IIIrd year of the course.
* National Council also provides Financial Assistance to the tune of Rs. 20,000/- in a year to one of the most deserving Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidate who fulfill eligibility criteria as per stated guidelines given by National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
* There will be no fees concession for candidates belonging to Scheduled Case/ Scheduled Tribe. Such candidates can however avail financial assistance from their respective State Governments for which the concerned Institute will issue studentship certificate indicating fee received from the student.
