GSAT 2017 Exam Pattern

For admission to M.Sc. Programmes

Candidates seeking admission to various M.Sc. programmes of GITAM Institute of Science, GITAM University are required to appear for GITAM Science Admission Test ( GSAT 2017 ) to be held at various centres in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India. Admission is based on the rank obtained in the entrance test.

Requirement for admission to all science programmes is a minimum aggregate of 50% or second division marks in group ( optional ) subjects in the qualifying examination.

Candidates who have appeared / are appearing for the final examinations in 2017 are also eligible.

The GSAT – 2017 consists of the following tests. In each test, there will be 60 multiple choice questions from the syllabus which can be downloaded from the GITAM website www.gitam.edu.

Ranks will be given separately based on the performance in the respective tests.

In addition to the Test 105, students qualified in Test 104 are also eligible for admission into M.Sc. Environmental ScienceThe question paper contains three sections: A ( 15 bits ) , B ( 20 bits ) and C ( 25 bits )

Note : Candidates are required to apply separately for each test. Fee for each test is Rupee 300 / –

For Admission to UG Programmes :

GSAT 2017 consists of the following tests. In each test, there will be altogether 60 multiple choice questions from the syllabus which can be downloaded from GITAM website www.gitam.edu.

Note : Candidates are required to apply separately for each test. Fee for each test is Rupee 300 / – Candidates qualified in GAT 2017 are also eligible for admission to BCA, BEM, M.Sc. Biotechnology ( 5 year integrated ) and B.Sc. programmes

For admission to MCA programme :

  • Candidates seeking admission to MCA programme are required to appear for an entrance test GSAT – 2017 to be held at various centres in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India.
  • Admission is based on the rank obtained in the entrance test.
  • Requirement for admission to the above programmes is a pass in any Degree with 50% Marks and Mathematics at +2 level or Degree level or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates who have appeared / are appearing for the final examinations in 2017 are also eligible.
