AP EAMCET 2017 Eligibility

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for AP EAMCET 2017 shall submit their application through online mode only. The detailed information regarding eligibility, age, syllabi, related instructions and procedure for online application are available in the website : www.sche.ap.gov.in / eamcet.

AP EAMCET Eligibility for Medical

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET 2017 :

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin ( PIO ) / Overseas Citizen of India ( OCI ) Card Holders.
  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non – Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana Educational Institutions ( Regulations of Admission ) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. ( Ag ) / B.Sc. ( Hort ) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. ( FS & T ) / B.Sc. ( CA & BM ) courses :

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below :

Note :

  • Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in AP EAMCET 2017.
  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

For MBBS / BDS Courses ( as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011 ) :

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Botany and Zoology ) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Botany and Zoology ) / Bio Technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Botany and Zoology ) / Bio Technology.
  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses : 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject.
  • Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS / BHMS / BNYS.

For B.Pharm Course :

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit.

For B.Tech. ( Bio – Technology ) Course :

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana shall be eligible.

For Pharm D Course :

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination ( 10+2 pattern ) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education,
  • Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
  • The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the above course.

AP EAMCET 2017 Application Form

Submission of online application for AP EAMCET 2017 :

AP EAMCET Application should be submitted through online mode only.

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during Online submission :

AP EAMCET 2017 Online submission :

For Online submission, visit the website  http://sche.ap.gov.in/ The candidate has to pay Rupee 350/- as Registration Fee and late fee ( if applicable ) by opting any of the following two modes of payment :

(a) AP ONLINE / E-Seva / Mee Seva

(b) Debit / Credit Card. After filling the Online Application Form with the required details, the candidate is required to verify all the details carefully and press Submit button. Filled in Online Application Form will be generated which contains Registration Number along with filled in details. The candidate is required to take printout of Filled in Online Application Form and it is to be submitted to the Invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent color passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College where studied qualifying examination. The candidate should use the Registration Number for future correspondence.

AP EAMCET 2017 Counselling

The counselling of AP EAMCET Medical 2017 begins from August, 2017 . The AP EAMCET Medical 2017 counselling is conducted by NTR University of Health Sciences Vijayawada for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates to be called for AP EAMCET Medical 2017 Counselling as per the rank in the merit list. Aspirants have to attend the AP EAMCET Medical 2017 counselling as per the schedule allotted to their rank. The AP EAMCET Medical 2017 Counselling comprises certificate verification, online registration, option entry and admission to allotted medical and dental colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET Medical 2017 Counselling MBBS and BDS Seats Available :

  • Total Number of MBBS seats = 3400.
  • Number of MBBS seats in Government medical colleges = 1750 in 11 Government colleges in SW, AU and SVU Area.
  • Number of MBBS seats in Private medical colleges = 1650 in 13 Private colleges in SW, AU and SVU Area.
  • Total Number of Number of BDS seats = 1390.

AP EAMCET 2017 Medical Counselling for Special Category :

Verification of Certificates under Sports & Games, CAP ( Army ), NCC, Physically Challenged ( PH ) and Police Martyrs Children ( PMC ) candidates ( Special Categories ). Candidates who wish to claim seat under Special Categories who fulfil the above eligibility criteria are directed to attend along with all Original Certificates and 4 sets of attested Xerox copies for verification of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2017 eligible Rank holders only.

*1. As per the regulations of MCI, the Physically Challenged candidates with locomotor disorder of lower limbs between 40% to 70% are only eligible. Candidates are informed to appear for medical examination before the medical board constituted by the Competent Authority for confirmation of eligibility for admission under PH category. Other disability candidates need not attend the verification.

2. Guidelines of Government of India and regulations of MCI shall be observed in making admissions of differently able ( Physically Handicapped ) candidates, according to which the Physically Handicapped candidates with locomotor disorder of lower limbs between 50% to 70% will be considered first and if any remaining unfilled seats to be filled with the candidates with 40% to 50%.

3. If any eligible candidate fails to attend for verification of certificates on the above respective dates, the candidate will not be considered for verification and selection against the respective category seats in MBBS / BDS courses for the academic year 2017 – 17.

AP EAMCET Medical 2017 Counselling Fee ( non – refundable ) : All the candidates who attend the counselling have to pay an amount of Rupee 1500 for OC / BC and Rupee 800 for SC / ST candidates as counselling fee at the reception counter of the counselling centre irrespective of their selection / admission. The counselling fee receipt can be produced in subsequent counselling for entry into the counselling centre.

  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks ( 40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category ) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board.

Criteria for EAMCET 2017 Ranking : The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET 2017 and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET 2017 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

TS EAMCET 2017 Application Form

Submission of Online Application for TS EAMCET 2017 :

EAMCET Application should be submitted through online mode only.

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during Online submission :

  • Hall ticket Number of Qualifying Examination
  • Hall ticket Number of S.S.C. or equivalent
  • Date of Birth
  • Caste in case of SC / ST / BC candidates ( Caste Certificate Application number for SC / ST only )
  • PH, NCC, Sports etc.
  • Income Upto One Lakh or Up to Two Lakhs or More than Two Lakhs ( Rupees )
  • Study or Residence or relevant certificate for proof of local status ( last 12 years )

TS EAMCET 2017 Online submission :

For Online submission, visit the website https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in . A candidate has to pay Rupee 250/- as Registration Fee and late fee ( if applicable ) by opting any of the following two modes of payment :

  • TS Online / AP Online Centers / Mee Seva centres / e-seva centers in Telangana / A.P.
  • Through Payment Gateway ( Debit / Credit Card. )

After filling the Online Application Form with the required details, the candidate is required to verify all the details carefully and press Submit button. Filled In Online Application Form will be generated which contains Registration Number along with filled in details. The candidate is required to take printout of Filled In Online Application Form and it is to be submitted to the Invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent color photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College where studied qualifying examination. The candidate should use the Registration Number for future correspondence.
