This Notification relates only to the Entrance Examinations. Candidates are advised to refer to separate Notification which will be issued during Third Week of May 2008 by the University inviting Applications for Admission to the various Programs.
Selection to various Programs will be governed by the procedures laid down by the University.

Agriculture: B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture.
General Instructions:
Candidates who are appearing for Higher Secondary OR Equivalent Qualifying Examinations during March - May 2008 and Candidates who have already passed H.Sc. OR Other Equivalent Qualifying Examinations are eligible to apply for these Entrance Examinations.
Examination Schedule:

Exam Pattern:
[Questions for the above Examinations will be based only on the Syllabi and Text Books prescribed for the Second year of the Tamil Nadu H.Sc. (Academic) Course].
Admission Process:
Admission will be made on the basis of Marks obtained in the relevant Subjects in the Qualifying Examination (H.Sc. OR Equivalent) and in the Entrance Examinations, with weightage of Marks 200 and 1 00 respectively.
Note: The Tamilnadu SC / ST Candidates desirous of obtaining the Application Forms at the concessional rates should submit a Certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution last studied / studying in the format given below:

Method of Payment: Application forms can be obtained in person by Cash
In Person: Payment at the University Cash Counter on all working Days. (Holidays: All Saturday, Sunday and other Government Holidays).
By Post: To get Application forms by POST the candidate should send a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.400/- (Except SC/ST Candidates) For SC/ST candidates they have to send a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- along with a Certificate as specified above.
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar - 608002 obtained on OR after 02.03.2008 from Any Bank Payable at Chennai and a self- addressed Kraft Envelope of Size 35 cm x 1 5 cm with Stamps affixed to the value of Rs.15/-.
Candidates are advised to write their Name and Address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
Application forms will be sent Only by Ordinary Post and the University will not be held responsible for non-receipt of Application forms.
Note: Please quote the Reference Number of the Notification in the top of the Request letter without fail.
